Ways to work together , matched to where you are

Not every company needs the same thing. Some want a diagnosis their team can act on; others, a partner to look after the whole organic channel; others, specialist support at a critical moment such as a migration. These are the formats we work with.

How to choose

Three questions to decide where to start

Do you have a team to execute? If you have in-house developers and writers, an audit or a consulting bank will give you judgement and priorities. If not, a retainer stops recommendations gathering dust in a drawer.

Is there a critical event on the horizon? A change of domain, CMS or design is the riskiest moment for organic traffic. If that's you, start with a migration project and leave the rest for later.

Do you need results immediately? SEO takes months to build. If you need demand now, combine paid search with SEO and shift budget as the organic channel grows. We explain this in SEO or Google Ads?.

Proposals

How a proposal works

  1. 01

    Initial conversation

A video call to understand your business, goals, timelines and starting point.

  2. 02

    Preliminary review

With read-only access, we review your situation so the proposal rests on data rather than assumptions.

  3. 03

    Written proposal

Scope, deliverables, timeline, responsibilities, tracking metrics and fixed fees. No small print.

  4. 04

    Adjust and sign

We answer questions, adjust what's needed and formalise the agreement in writing before we start.

General terms

Every engagement is formalised with a written proposal or contract. These are the principles we apply in general; the specific terms of each case are those set out in your document.

  • Fixed fees. We work on fixed fees per project or per month, depending on the model. We don't charge based on rankings or metrics we don't control.
  • Defined scope. The proposal states what's included and what isn't. If a new need arises, we quote for it separately before starting work on it.
  • Duration and notice. For ongoing services, any minimum term and the notice period for ending the engagement are agreed in the contract. We aim for reasonable terms that allow results to show, not for lock-in.
  • Media spend. In paid search, the advertising budget is billed by the platform directly to your company, in your own account, and is separate from our fees.
  • Ownership. Accounts, data, content and deliverables produced for you are yours.
  • Confidentiality. We don't share your information or results with third parties without your authorisation.

We don't publish rates because the real cost depends on variables we only know after the diagnosis: the size and technical state of the site, the number of markets and languages, the competitiveness of the sector and your team's capacity. We'd rather give you a fixed, justified figure than a catalogue price that doesn't hold up later.

Questions

About contracts and quotes

Is there a minimum term?

It depends on the model. Audits and projects end on delivery. For ongoing services, the duration and notice period are agreed in writing in the contract, and we explain them before you sign.

Can I move from an audit to a monthly retainer?

Yes, it's the most common sequence. The audit becomes the basis for the retainer's roadmap, so no work is repeated.

Do you work with small companies?

Yes, as long as the project makes sense for both sides. For businesses with limited resources, an audit with a clear roadmap or a few hours of consulting are usually the best way to start.

Do you guarantee results?

We don't guarantee rankings or traffic, because they depend on factors nobody controls. What we do guarantee is the work described in the proposal, transparent reporting and your ownership of everything created.
